Another Great Day at Griffith!

Today we had lots of fun singing, dancing and being silly with our new pals.

We also received answers to our Fairy Questions from yesterday.  The kids were SO excited (and well, so were we!!)

After snack the kids found a fairy note in the fairy mailbox.

It read,

Dear Friends,

My goodness! You really outdid yourself on your communifairilees!

They are very colorful and sparkly – just like we LOVE! We hope you enjoyed getting notes today!

Today is the day the fairies decide what play we are going to do! We are very excited. I am hoping it will be a musical. I love to sing! Do you?

The fairies have a very important question for you. Please head to Hannalonkawich to find it out. Also, on your way, look out for the theatrical symbol of 3 leaves on top of each other. It symbolizes the three very important characteristics of Fairy Theater: Enjoyment, Creativity and Courage… ECC.

 We had a magical walk to the village – and we found the 3 leaf theatrical symbol too!

 When we arrived, there was a simple note that read,

Hello sweet friends!

It was so nice to meet you all yesterday and to have a chance to watch you make friends and have fun!

Today we made a final decision on what play we will be performing this year! It will use all of our talents. I will let Dossledorf let you know what it is tomorrow. In the meantime,

We were hoping you would tell all of us the following:

1) what is your talent?

2) have you ever seen a performance before?

3) what would YOU like to see in your performance?

That will help you figure out WHAT performance you will do to OPEN up the Theatrical Festival!

Please let us know what you plan to do we need to put it on the program!

We of course started planning, brainstorming and creating right away!  We found out what performances people have seen and what kind of performance the kids would like to put on.  Then we split into groups with kids of similar interests and starting figuring out stories.

Well, you folks will be in for a treat this Friday!!  We have imaginations running wild over here!  Star Wars, Magical Dancers, Adventurers, Superheroes, Dinosaurs and more!

Can’t wait to start writing dialogue with these amazing kids tomorrow!!!!
