WHAT A SUPER EXCITING DAY!! EPIC MAGIC-NESS!!
We got to learn a new game created by our very own campers! It was called Running Charades and it ROCKS!
We also traveled into the fairy jungle where there was SO many signs of magic!! Dragonflies, turtles, fish, crawfish, butterflies and NOTES!
At the beginning of the day Dossledorf wrote:
Sweet friends,
The fairies are simply blown away by your muscles, mind and creativity! You did such a fantastic job with the games!
I am proud to tell you that each and every game will be used for the Olympics! We couldn’t choose just one!
As you know… the fairies are about FUN, FUN, FUN and all of your games are very fun – great job!
Today is a very special day for both the fairies AND you!
Please go towards the Wishing Well to find out the exciting surprise!
Love,
Dossledorf
Our walk was simply beautiful
And we were so excited to find the notes from the fairies
Friends,
Today is a grand day indeed!
We find out our fairy teams today! We are all so excited!
We wanted to share this excitement with you and give you your OWN teams today too!
Once you read aloud the teams, please head back to base camp to think of a team name, a team anthem, and a team symbol you will decorate on your team shirts!
Today is a day for bonding, team building, strategy and FUN!
Go fairies! Go fairy friends!
Love,
All the participants of the 2015 Fairy Games.
The kids of course were THRILLED to hear they would find out their teams today.
We all had fun creating names, chants and even a team T-SHIRT!
We are all very excited about our new teams!
We can’t wait for Wiley to join us (and Bea to join her group again!)
Melissa and I also regaled the story of the Fairy Olympics of 1745 when they banned the games due to poor sportsmanship. Luckily, 81 years later, King Wringlepringle opened the games again under the condition that all participates will play with LOVE, and that everyone tries their best. If this is done, then everyone will be awarded winners.
We wish our campers good luck tomorrow!
