We finished this week off with a bang! Fairy notes, hikes, crafts, songs, games and Friendship!
We loved learning about a new game called Triangloo – the kids were really good at it!
Here is the note from Dossledorf:
Holy Rockaflowers!
We loved, loved, loved your ladderdances! They were so colorful! Some of the fairies from Hannalonkawich even used your stick decorations as inspiration for their own!
You are also very talented in the actual ladderdance competition. All the fairies agree that we are excited to see you participate in this event next Friday during the Fairy Obstacle Course!
One final game for the week awaits you at Hanalonkawich! One of your fairies loves this game immensely. It is the Triangloo!
See you on Monday! Have a restful weekend and try to practice your games if you can!
Love, Dossledorf
We were in a hurry to get to Hannalonkawich and figure out what this game was all about!
When we arrived, we found a triangle looking thing hanging from the trees and this note:
Sweet friends,
We would love to introduce you to this amazing ancient fairy game called Triangloo! It takes skill, precision and a sense of humor.
The rules are simple:
First, find a small seed, rock, acorn, seashell or pebble in the forest.
Next make a triangloo – decorate one stick and hang with fairy string.
Finally, hang from a branch tree or even a finger, set up a designated throwing spot and see if you can get your piece into the triangaloo!
Continue moving the spot backward until there is only 1 or 2 final winners!
Have fun!
We know we are!
Love, the fairies.
The kids decorated their own triangaloos
then the campers played their hearts out!
Congratulations to Mia for winning!!
Looking forward to seeing you all next week!!
