What a great first day of camp and a wonderful way to begin the 2015 Fairy Games!!
SO many old pals have come back to join us and we LOVED meeting a few new friends as well.
We had fun dancing, singing and getting to know each other. We talked about the rules too and all the magic in the forest we were going to uncover!
After snack we found a note from Dossledorf:
Hello sweet children!
My friends and I have been waiting for you and we are so excited for your arrival!
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dossledorf and I am honored to be the Communications Officer to the Fairy Village of Hannalonkawich, and the tribe of Schlittersnence.
As you may have heard, this forest is filled to the brim with magic, fairies, and fairy friends. The fairies of Hanalonkawich have known your friends Melissa and Sue for many years and we find it so exciting that every summer we get to meet more and more camper friends.
As a welcome gift, something awaits you at the village. Please go there and find our presents.
Also, the forest is such a buzz with excitement. Next week is the annual FAIRY GAMES COMPETITION! We have many fairies that have been training all year for this event. We truly hope you will join us in all of the fun!
Will you?
Magic and smiles,
Dossledorf
We were all very excited to go to Hannalonkawich and see what the fairies had left us!
When we arrived, we found treasure boxes in the shape of a loveatitle. We also found 2 pine cones and a note that read…
Hello and welcome to the village of Hannalonkawich!
We hope you like the gifts we left you! These treasure boxes, or Comunifairalees, help you and your fairy friends communicate.
After every day at camp please feel free to ask any questions you like – in morning, your answer will be put in this communifairalee.
Our junior fairy counselors will fill you in on the rest.
Please return to base camp and decorate these boxes with your own unique sense of fun, magic and zest.
We can’t wait to see them!
We are also SO SO SO excited to teach you many new fairy games for the 2015 Fairy Games– one of our favorites is called Pine cone Drop. Please use these Pine cones and ask Melissa and Sue how to play. We had fun watching them at the 2001 Fairy Games!
With love,
The Fairies
The kids did a great job decorating their Communifairalees! They are SO glittery and unique!
Melissa and I also taught them how to play Pine cone Drop – it was a hilariously great practice! We hope it will be on the bill for the Fairy Game competition!
We can’t wait to see what magic and fun await us tomorrow!
PS – A big congrats and thank you to our Junior Fairy Counselors (JFCs)! They were so helpful and kind today.
