What a fun morning of singing, and freeze dancing (congrats to Skylar who won the Freeze Dance Tourney!).
Melissa taught the kids the song she wrote all about friendship called “Two Birds” – the kids loved it!
Afterwards, when we got Dossledorf’s note, we were overjoyed!
It seems like King Wringlepringle has had a change of heart!
Listen to this!
Friends,
Last night I felt such a magnetic pull to the south of Hanalonkawich. I went there, by your tree, deep in the night to see what was happening.
From behind a tree, I saw the most magical sight – FAIRIES! Hundreds of fairies that I have never met before! This can only mean one thing – the Locanville fairies used your directawands last night and brought them close to your base camp. They were spinning, swirling and flying with delight!
I rushed back to King Wringlepringle to tell him the news. He was shocked, but in his eye – I saw a sparkle of longing; a shine of excitement.
He said to me, “The children’s curiosity has helped me see that perhaps it was not my brother’s fault he was named king. I am so proud of the life I lead here in Hanalonkawich – I yearn to show my brother the village I rule, my children and my intelligent wife. But how? After so many years how can I try to make amends?”
Children, do you have any ideas? I am shaking with the possibility that the Kings may be reunited, and perhaps even become friends again. If this happened, think of the friendships that would blossom! Hundreds of new fairy friends!
Please help!
Perhaps the friendship fairies could give you a hand?
With love and excitement,
Dossledorf
Just as we finished the note, we saw flashes of orange in the forest behind us. We had to be very brave and use all of our strength to find the fairies but when we did we found a glorious note!
Dear Children,
Thank you for asking for our help! We are the friendship fairies and we are so so so excited about the possibility of making NEW friends tonight and hopefully reuniting the kings!
If you’d like to help, please make a friendalingring, and pass it along to a new friend you’ve made at camp. The power of that exchange will ignite all kinds of friendship power and help the two brothers… and two tribes meet with open hearts.
Thank you!
Love,
The orange fairies
The kids partnered up with someone with a NEW friend they have made at camp. The two of them made a friendalingring for each other. It was wonderful to see what the power friendship can create: Big smiles, big love. I think it’s just what Wringlepringle needs!
