We hope everyone had a great weekend!
Here at fairy camp, the adventure of the New Fairy World continues.
First, we’d like to welcome Beatrix to our camp!
Thank you for finding this super long note from Dossledorf:
Dear Children,
It has been a very busy weekend here in Hanalonkawich. King Wringlepringle has returned and has spent many hours speaking to Queen Leekis and his trusted and longtime friends, Xanpar and Rola.
There is rumor that our King left Locanville when he was just a young fairy after a terrible feud broke out over who was the rightful heir to the throne! King Wringlepringle believed he was going to rule the underground village – in fact, all of Locanville thought so. But their father, King Bumplebump, made a last minute decision to crown Rumplethump instead. It was at that moment that Wringlepringle fled the village never to be seen again.
This news is so shocking to our village and we feel that although we want to stand by our King, we are worried for Rumplethump and his fairies.
Will you check to see if they are safe?
Thank you,
Dossledorf.
What an amazing twist of events regarding our twin fairy brothers! We had so many questions, and wanted to understand the story completely. We even acted it out!
But, we all realized that the most important thing was to ensure that Rumplethump and the fairies of Locanville were safe. We headed to the villageand found this Soltrappe in the tree and the following note:
Friends,
Your sand fittas were successful! We can’t thank you enough. Many of our fairies have traveled closer to the top of the earth. Some are even digging their way to daylight!
We have tried to call upon the yellow fairies – the ones in charge of the sweet daylight – to come and shine brightly and show us the way.
Can you help the yellow fairies? Can you create a sun catcher (soltrappe) so we can feel the sun’s warm rays and be able to finally get to the earth’s surface?
The soltrappe’s powers are mighty. Please, please help!
Love your new friend,
King Rumplethump
PS – Have you heard anything from my brother? If you are able, please tell him I miss him, love him, and need his help.
Melissa helped us remember the ancient Sun Dance and we found a perfectly sunny spot to see all the yellow zips and magic the Soltrappe had to offer.
When we returned to base camp we found that the fairies had left some soltrappes for us to decorate.
The kids loved decorating their own,
and making their own Sun Dance!
We sure hope the fairies find their way above ground!
