Fairy Camp LA

A blog for Fairy Camp LA, focusing on crafts, music, dancing, nature, fairies, trolls, magic, and other enchanting activities for children.

Such a silly morning we had on Friday!

We just couldn’t stop laughing – we giggled through songs, dances and even push ups! DSC_0317 DSC_0324 DSC_0321 DSC_0320 DSC_0319

Things got real though when we received a note from King Wringlepringle himself.

Check it out:

Dear Children,

I have been notified that you are worried about me. I am truly sorry that I wasn’t able to respond yesterday when I was asked about Rump… Rumple… R – I can’t even write his name.

The truth is that I was so shocked to hear his name I had to flee.

I had to have time alone to think.

You see, that “other” king is… my twin brother. I have not seen him for thousands of moons. Before I came to Hanalonkawich, before I married the intelligent Queen Leekis.

I left Locanville when I was just a young man. and I had hoped to never hear my brother’s name again. I remain faithful to you, my friends. But please… this story is too hard for me to tell.

Yours, King Wringlepringle.

The kids were completely shocked.  Twin Brother?  Wow.

They had all sorts of suggestions and ideas of what this all could mean, but we decided to head to the new village to see if there were any notes.

Luckily, Rumplethump wrote us:

New Friends,

We thank you for your Bittawattas.

Your spell and kindness have made a difference. The walls of our very dusty kingdom have become manageable enough to move throughout the tunnels but a new conundrum has begun.

The drought caused too many new tunnels and paths and we are confused.

The fairies of Locanville cannot find their way out.

Please help! If you need assistance, call upon the Dirt and Earth Fairies.  Also, please ask Wringlepringle for help.

Yours, KR

We went on a mad search for the earth fairies and finally came across a beautiful loveatitle with a note inside. DSC_0367

It read,

Thank you for asking for our help! We feel that you are clever and creative enough to help Rumplethump’s fairies find their way out of the maze of tunnels. Please create a sand Fitta.

Imagine the paths, connect the earth, and use encouraging words, spells or songs.

Thank you, Brown Fairies.

The kids had loads of fun making mazes with dirt and glitter.  We hope that it will help the new tribe find their way out of the tunnels!!
