Fairy Camp LA

Wowza!

These kids were so excited when they arrived today!  They had fairies on the brain and in their heart!  They were very excited to hear what Dossledorf had written to them in their Communifairalees.  What fun to get to correspond with actual fairies!

Today after a good time dancing and singing,

The kids found a note from Dossledorf that read,

Dear Friends!

How glorious your Comunifairaleeses are! Such color and pizzazz! You are truly creative humans!

The fairies and I have been so excited all night. We have decided that you are grand adventurers and are ready to embark on a new challenge.

Please head to the fairy village and watch with big curious eyes on the way – every step matters!

Remember, great adventure is not the destination, but the journey along the way.

We had another adventurous hike to Hanalonkawich and tried very hard to have purposeful steps and wide, curious eyes – just like Dossledorf told us!  The counselors were also so pleased to see new friends helping each other out!!

When we arrived, we didn’t see any magic at all – until way up in the trees the campers noticed an interesting map-ish looking thing.

There was a note too that said,

Dear Friends,

We see in eyes that you are true adventurer at heart.

As adventure fairies, we know that all good journeys need four things: open hearts, curious eyes, a good map and sensible shoes.

It seems to us that you have 3 of these 4 things.

We would love for you to create a meopa just like this one we have created here.

The counselors will show you how.

We think you are very brave and full of zest. We like that.

The kids flew back to base camp and loved creating their own meopas.

Many kids put their own homes on the maps as well to see if the fairies would come visit them tonight.  We can’t wait to hear if any magic happened!
