Yippee! First Day of Camp!!

We are so excited about our awesome group of campers!! These friendly faces are really going to help us start summer off with a bang!

It was wonderful to see many new faces, and we so appreciated our alumni who was there to lend a hand, share with new friends facts about the fairies, and spread the magic of the forest!

Today after singing and getting to know each other,

the kids found a fairy note from our pal, Dossledorf!

It read,

Oh glory day!!

The first day of summer camp is here!

My friends and I have waited months for your return and we are so excited for your arrival!

But wait!

My friend and student, Olivetta, has told me that there are many new faces in this group. How embarrassing, you don’t even know who I am!

My name is Dossledorf and I am honored to be the Communications Officer to the Fairy Village of Hannalonkawich, and the tribe of Schlittersnence.

As you may have heard, this forest is filled to the brim with magic, fairies, and fairy friends. The fairies of Hanalonkawich have known your friends Melissa and Sue for many years and we find it so exciting that every summer we get to meet more and more camper friends.

As a welcome gift, something awaits you at the village. Please go there and find our presents.

Fairy Magic and Fun,

Dossledorf

The kids were very excited to check out where Hanalonkawich was, and we headed for a fun walk to the fairy village. Along the way we found Loveatitles, saw a lot of messenger butterflies, and signs of magic!

When we got there we were delighted to see that our gifts were our very own fairy treasure boxes!

Here is what the accompanying note said that we found:

Hello and welcome to the village of Hannalonkawich!

We hope you like the gifts we left you! These treasure boxes, or Comunifairalees, help you and your fairy friends communicate.

After every day at camp please feel free to ask any questions you like – in morning, your answer will be put in this communifairalee.

Melissa and Sue will fill you in on the rest.

Please return to base camp and decorate these boxes with your own unique sense of fun, magic and zest.

We can’t wait to see them!

We already know we are going to be such GREAT friends!
