What a busy day!
From start to finish our wonderful campers were learning, creating and having fun!
After songs, mail call and snack we found a note that read,
Dear Children,
Oh boy! You have made us dance and hum with your amazing songs! We love them all and can’t wait to hear you practice more!
Please sing to the tree tops my friends! We are listening from up there!
Also, we were hoping that you could paint a picture of your characters. We love your songs so much but we all can’t decide on what the Star Powers look like – or the angels and fairies, or the main adventurers and the well known characters! Please show us!
We love your ideas – please keep them coming… we have 2 questions for you if you don’t mind…
Firstly – Could there be a grand adventure that some of the characters go on? We love grand adventures – we think of life as one big adventure.
Secondly – how will all the characters meet each other?
We look forward to your answers!
Love, Dossledorf and the fairies.
We were so happy to hear that the fairies were excited about our songs – and their enthusiasm about the performance gave us gusto to think of a story right then and there!
Our play now has kids that will travel in search of something (for what you will just have to wait and see) and there are people along the way that will try to get them to join their groups. We now have dialogue and have started memorizing our songs. They sound great and we are so excited!
We hope you will come and watch part one of our play on Friday!
The campers also helped out the fairies by painting pictures of their characters. The kids really made their images come to life – they look great!
A very special happy birthday to two of our campers: Birdie and Jasper! We are so glad we got to celebrate with you (with Popsicles!) and thrilled that the Birthday Fairy visited you at camp!!
