A wonderful day to end a beautiful and magical 2 weeks.
Dossledorf wrote his final letter of camp today:
Dear Friends,
Oh today feels ever so bitter sweet! You have done such an amazing job these past two weeks. I can’t even think of a time when the forest was this happy – this ALIVE with friendship and love.
But we will miss you!!!.
This morning the fairies have one final question for you.
But first, our friends in the various villages would like to say good bye.
Please take a walk through Aquavia to see the fish. The mermaids and dragon flies would also like to say goodbye. The ladybug said she would like to see you too – as well as the butterflies, owls and the bees. They said they will meet you near Aquavia. Also, please be sure to stop by Aracaterria to say farewell to the spiders. Keep your eyes peeled!
With all the love in my heart,
Dossledorf
We had a darling walk through the “jungle” to say good bye to all our new pals.
When we got to Aracaterria big surprises awaited us!
First we found these boxes
and then we saw a sleeping fairy!
Olivietta joined us and answered so many of our questions.
She also read us this note from the fairies:
Dear friends,
Our heartfelt thanks for your excellent work this week. Our friends have been so happy in the Glapadiouses that you created. They have all met and are so excited about having new friends and a new safe place.
But we must admit that we feel a bit sad! We are going to miss your cheery voices, songs, and friendship.
We were wondering, if you wouldn’t mind, if you would please make US a home in your Glapadious? It is such a friendly and beautiful place. Would you please decorate these houses and then put it in your gardens? Then we will be able to visit you and our friends?!
Would you, dear children?
Love you to the moon right back to Hanalonkawich,
The fairies.
We were so excited that Olivietta stayed while we made our houses – she seemed to think the fairies were going to love them!
Again, thank you for a wonderful experience. Your kids rock and made each day a pleasure.
With love,
Sue and Melissa.
