Eco Fairies Day 3

Another magical day in the forest for these awesome campers! The park was alive with fairies and fun. Check out who we found! Penelope the Earth Fairy!

The kids were excited to receive Dossledorf’s notes – and we were super happy to find out how happy the fairies were with us!

Dear Friends,

Oh sweet children,

Thank you so much for being so wonderful! We heard the call of the Razzashazz yesterday and we were so pleased to see that you had cleaned up garbage and made it easier for us to create magic in the park. You are super stars! Thank you!! Please continue to help the Earth, and sound the alarm when the area is safe for us!

As a thank you, the fairies have left a colorful surprise for you at the village. We hope you like them!

What?! Presents for us!? We left right away to the fairy village – we couldn’t wait for the surprise!

Once we got there, we saw so many different colors flying in the trees. When we got closer we saw that there were bags AND we found this note!

Dear friends,

Please find a present for you. We are so pleased with your work so far in Ecofairies that we really want to present you with your own Eco Bag. This bag can be used so that you don’t have to use plastic or paper bags. This re-usable bag will lessen the amount of garbage in our Earth – we hope you use it when you shop for all your fairy crafting supplies!

Ask Melissa and Sue if they have special fabric paint. If they do, please decorate them to match your fairy personality. Think of the Earth! Think of your Friends!

We discussed about how plastic really does cause a lot of problems for the earth… AND that plastic that is thrown away and not recycled goes into the Ocean! What would our Blue Water Fairies think about that? We thought it was such a great idea that the fairies gave us these reusable bags. Now we won’t have to use plastic ones!

The kids loved decorating them with fabric markers and fabric spray paint. They turned out great!
