Another great day!
The kids were dying to see if Dossledorf wrote them back – they were so excited to get their notes!
The fairies were so happy with the kids – and so impressed by their creativity! Check out what they wrote:
Dear Friends,
You have left our fairies speechless.
We were watching you yesterday and not only did you use such magic and gusto in the painting of your mailboxes BUT the signs you made about not littering and respecting the earth are SO beautiful!
We cannot believe that such a group of wise, sweet and respectful kids are here at Griffith Park to help us protect the environment.
The environment helps us with our magic. We use the trees, streams, plant and flowers in our magic spells and in our daily life. Thank you for helping us.
Now that we know that you are not only fairy believers but also ECO stars, we would love to give you a gift.
A very, very special Fairy Gift!
It’s makings are waiting for you at Hanalonkawich.
With sincere thanks,
Dossledorf
When we arrived, there was a strange looking instrument there.
Jasper recognized it as a Magic Whisper Shaka Shaka Tambourine, but the fairies had a different use and name for this one…
Dear friends,
Here are the items needed to keep the magic of the Eco Fairies close to your heart. It is called a Razzashazz, or in layman’s terms, A Fairy Magic Trinkle Horn. You can use it when you find a spot of pure fairy beauty. If you see an environment that is litter free, that has beautiful trees or nature, and it is safe for fairies to come to gather to make their magic stronger, please sound off your Razzashazz! The fairies will come to visit the area to reload on magic.
Better yet, if you help create this kind of spot by cleaning up litter, or making great choices, sound of the horn to let the fairies know it is now a safe place.
Thank you my friends you are ever so kind,
With love,
Dossledorf and the fairies.
The kids put a lot of hard work into their Razzashazzes. We were proud to make them out of recycled materials like bottle caps! Eco Stars!
Afterwards, they asked if they could clean up our “base camp” so they could shake their crafts. They even made up a chant:
Fairies, Fairies, come and play
We threw all the trash away.
Fairies, Fairies, it is clean.
The most magical place we’ve ever seen.
These kids are pure magic!
