We are getting very excited for the Hanalonkawich Fest Day tomorrow!

Dear Friends,

Oh goodness!

The fairies LOVED their portraits! They were all so surprised with how much they resembled the actual fairies. Excellent job!

We are getting so excited for our Hanalonkawich Fest party on Thursday and we were wondering if you’d like to join in on the fun?

There is one thing we are in need of though, my friends.

If you think you are able to help us out, please head to the fairy village with a song in your heart and a dance in your step to find out what we seek.

Well, of course we scooted right over the village!  There, we found another note (and a lot of fairy jewels)

 Thank you for coming my friends, and thank you for helping us.

You see, during the Hanalonkawich Fest party, it is customary to perform the annual “Frinkella Sirence”. The Frinkella Sirence is a song and dance created by our fairy family to help ring in the birthday of the Hanalonkawich village.

Since you are now a part of our family, we were wondering if you would please create a song and dance for us? We would be so honored if you could perform it on July 3^rd – Hanalonkawich Fest Day!

Please say yes?!

The campers agree with a resounding YES!

So this afternoon the campers created a song just for the festival.  It is beautiful!

It goes like this (to the tune of You Are My Sunshine)

This is our village, our fairy village

It is so peaceful, it keeps me safe

When I feel blue, it makes me happy

And in my heart it will stay.

 

Thank you village, Hanalonkawich village

you sparkle very bright

So full of magic, and so perfect

We respect you in our hearts.

We look forward to making a dance to go with the song tomorrow… and wonder what magic awaits us on our last day!!
