Fairy Camp LA

What a great morning we had – we LOVED making all our From Scratch Goodies… we also loved meeting new pals!  Thanks everyone for coming!

After meeting, we discussed what From Scratch meant, and all the cool things we could make right in our kitchen!

The kids were very excited to hear that we were going to make our own muffin mix!  Forget that stuff that comes in a box!  We measured and poured all the ingredients we needed… and don’t worry, we didn’t forget one of the most important ingredients!  Chocolate Chips!

After making the mix, and then baking a batch to make sure they were tasty (they were!) – we decided we needed to make something to wash down all that delicious muffin!  We had a carton of OJ in the fridge… but thought better of it after we saw there were ingredients in there besides oranges.  Instead, we juiced real oranges and made our drink right from scratch – it tasted like heaven!

Finally, we made our own amazing room freshener/perfume!  This was a real highlight of our morning!  The kids all got to smell different essential oils and mix three to make their own signature fragrance.  It was so fun – and all of them smelled SO good!
