I can’t believe we are just one day away from the concert!
We are all so excited!
Yesterday, we didn’t get a chance to ask questions to Dossledorf, so we were very surprised when we still received a note (with compliments!) and a beautiful rockarocka flower! Thanks Dossledorf!
We practiced all of our songs, and then received another note! It read,
Dear Children,
You helped us ROCK OUT last night!! Your “Fairy Band” song is super stellar! Thank you for creating it!!
We can’t believe you! A jazz song, a middle Eastern song, and now a rock song? What can’t you do?
We have a simple request for you.
We have a fairy friend who has been having a bad week. Even despite your music, he is VERY grumpy. They say, “Misery Loves Company” and we know how your music touches the hearts of the fairies… do you think you could write a blues song? A song about things that make you sad – but then create a happy ending?
We think it will really help Popalaprops… the fairy that is so grumpy.
The instruments you use can be simple. The rocks that you painted yesterday, along with some tapping sticks. Learn the blues beat – and these materials will help you.
On the way to the village, find two similar sticks. When you arrive at Fairyland, there will be some more materials for you to use.
Thank you so much for your help!
You rock!
Love,
Dossledorf
PS- Lila – thank you so much for the sweets! They are delicious!
We were happy to go to the fairy village again and to find tap tapping sticks.
When we got to the village there were all kinds of materials we could use to make our sticks more magical! The kids did a stellar job!
As per the fairies’ request, we also wrote a blues song about what makes us sad. We’ll be happy to continue it tomorrow so we can talk about what makes us happy!!
I’m sure the fairies were overjoyed to receive Jasper’s note – she wrote her own song for the fairies that we will perform for you tomorrow! So awesome!
Can’t wait to rock out with all our guests tomorrow at 1:30!
See you then!
